Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead and manage all quality control processes in our organization. The QC Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet internal and external specifications and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily QC operations, including inspections, testing, and audits
Develop and enforce quality control policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations and certifications (e.g., ISO, FSSAI, GMP)
Train and supervise quality control staff and ensure continuous improvement
Investigate quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Maintain accurate documentation, test reports, and inspection records
Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to maintain product quality
Prepare and present quality reports to management on a regular basis
Stay updated with new quality tools, trends, and technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in [industry]
Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory standards, and testing protocols
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Proficiency with quality management software/tools and MS Office
Certification in ISO, HACCP, or Six Sigma is a plus
